Terms of Service

Welcome to AuthorRise Media! These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AuthorRise Media Pte Ltd (“AuthorRise Media”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) regarding your use of this website. The failure of AuthorRise Media to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

1. Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access and use of the websites authorrisemedia.co and inspirebeforeyouexpire.com (the “Sites”). The Sites, including the brand Inspire Before You Expire™, are owned and operated by AuthorRise Media Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore.

By accessing or using the Sites, including any related platforms, applications, tools, or services, you agree to be bound by these Website Terms of Use (the “Terms”) in full and without modification. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Sites.

You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, national, and international laws that apply to your use of the Sites. If you are using the Sites on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

The Sites are only available to individuals aged 18 years or older. We reserve the right to deny access to any individual or entity at our sole discretion.

2. Use License

Subject to your full compliance with these Terms, AuthorRise Media grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Site and its contents for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

  • Modify, copy, distribute, or resell any content from the Site;
  • Use the Site for any commercial use without written permission;
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract any underlying software, process, or proprietary system;
  • Remove proprietary notices or copyright labels;
  • “Scrape,” “crawl,” or “mirror” the Site on other servers or systems;
  • Circumvent or bypass any security measures implemented by AuthorRise Media.
  • This license is automatically revoked if you violate any of these Terms, and may be terminated by AuthorRise Media at any time.

3. Publishing Services Disclaimer

AuthorRise Media provides professional publishing, editing, design, printing, branding, and distribution services.

You understand and agree that:

  • Publishing is a collaborative process, and while we provide professional expertise, the final responsibility for manuscript content rests with the author.
  • We do not guarantee specific commercial outcomes such as bestseller rankings, media placements, speaking engagements, or sales volumes unless expressly stated in a separate signed Publishing Agreement.
  • Editing and proofreading are performed to professional standards, but no service can guarantee a completely error-free manuscript.
  • Marketing, publicity, or distribution efforts may increase visibility, but reader reception, market demand, and book sales remain outside of our control.

All timelines provided are good-faith estimates and may shift depending on author responsiveness, revisions, distribution channels, or circumstances beyond our control.

4. Registration and Account Security

To access certain services (such as manuscript submissions or publishing updates), you may be required to create an AuthorRise Media account.

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information;
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • Accept full responsibility for all activity under your account;
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

5. Manuscripts and Author Submissions

You may be permitted to provide manuscripts, drafts, images, media, or other content (“Author Submissions”) to AuthorRise Media for review and publishing.

By submitting content, you:

  • Grant AuthorRise Media a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content solely for the purposes of editing, publishing, distribution, and promotion of the book project;
  • Warrant that you own or have lawful rights to such content;
  • Agree that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights or violate any applicable laws;
  • Remain fully responsible for the content and any consequences arising from its use.

AuthorRise Media does not claim ownership of your intellectual property. Copyright remains with you, unless otherwise agreed in a signed Publishing Agreement.

6. Publishing Agreements

If you engage AuthorRise Media for paid publishing services, ISBN assignment, royalty support, or distribution partnerships, these services will be governed by a separate Publishing Agreement.

That Publishing Agreement will:

  • Define ownership of rights, royalties, licensing, and distribution terms;
  • Take precedence over these Website Terms where explicitly stated;
  • Become binding once signed or digitally accepted.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • Submit plagiarized, defamatory, or unlawful content;
  • Upload viruses, malware, or code that disrupts operations;
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;
  • Exploit, copy, or resell AuthorRise Media’s processes or materials without authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for authors engaging in abuse, fraud, or misconduct.

8. Privacy Policy and Data Rights

Use of the Site and our publishing services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

AuthorRise Media treats all manuscripts and client materials as confidential unless otherwise agreed for marketing or promotional purposes. By using our services, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer

The Site and our services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Commercial or financial success of any published book;
  • Media coverage, sales volume, or reader reception;
  • Error-free editing, formatting, or printing;
  • Continuous availability or performance of distribution channels.

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthorRise Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the Site or our services;
  • Errors, omissions, or delays in editing or publishing;
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities;
  • Unauthorized access or breaches.

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site or services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. Upon termination, all rights granted under these Terms will cease.

You may terminate this agreement by ceasing all use of the Site and services. Sections that, by their nature, should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the Site at least 30 days before they take effect.

Your continued use of the Site or services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
